DDCAP were delighted to be an Executive Partner of the IFN Europe Forum held in Luxembourg on 26th June 2014. DDCAP representatives in attendance included Stella Cox – Managing Director and Lawrence Oliver – Director & Deputy CEO.
Following Keynote presentations by Pierre Gramegna – Minister of Finance, Luxembourg and Robert Scharfe – Chief Executive Officer, Luxembourg Stock Exchange, the Keynote Panel Session, “What is Europe’s Islamic Investment Strategy”, was moderated by Stella Cox. This included insight into the market leaders views on Europe’s future within the Islamic Finance landscape. Panellists included Badlisyah Abdul Ghani – Chief Executive Officer, CIMB Islamic, Malaysia, Harris Irfan – Managing Director, European Islamic Investment Bank, United Kingdom, Jonathan Grosvenor – General Manager, Global Financial Markets, KBL European Private Bankers, Luxembourg and Rachid Ouaich – Managing Director, Eethiq Advisors, Luxembourg.
Prior to the Forum, Stella Cox participated in The Luxembourg Dialogue, a high level, invitation-only Roundtable Event comprising senior regulators and market leaders representing the Islamic finance industry, with focus on Luxembourg’s positioning as a leading Islamic investment destination. The dialogue was moderated by Neil Miller – Global Head of Islamic Finance, Linklaters.
